SUMMER ROCK CAMPS
Rock like a STAR! Choose from 3 weeks—or DO 2, or ALL 3!
Students will learn what it feels like to play in a REAL rock-n-roll band by learning classic songs that are fun to play. Jamming, soloing and playing a tight groove all while feeling like a star under the lights!
Week 1 with Ian
Ages 12 & up (1 year minimum playing experience required), class meets July 11-15, M-F, from noon-2:00 pm.
Week 2 with Michael
Ages 12 & up (1 year minimum playing experience required), class meets July 18-22, M-F, from noon-2:00 pm.
Week 3 with Warren
Ages 12 & up (1 year minimum playing experience required), class meets July 25-29, M-F, from noon-2:00 pm.
MUSICAL THEATER SHOWCASE with Jen
GREAT FOR EVERYBODY--NO MATTER WHAT INSTRUMENT YOU PLAY!
Ages 5-18. Class meets July 11-22, M-F. 5-9 year-olds meet from 11:00am-noon, 10-18 year-olds meet from 10:00am-noon. Great ear training for all students--a real must for any musician! Everybody gets to do a little singing, dancing and some will even get speaking lines. Showcase highlights from some of the most popular musicals of all time—no costumes, no make up—just all the fun of Musical Theater! A short performance to be given on the last day of class (location TBA).
GROUP VIOLIN with Trevor
Suzuki-style violin for the little ones
Ages 4 & up, class meets July 25-29, M-F, from 11:00am-noon. Students will learn to play single line melodies in unison with each other. Great for ear training and coordination without feeling like school!
Class tuition is $69/week for 1-hour, and $129/week for 2-hour classes, all supplies included. 10% discount for taking 2 or more classes. Students will receive a certificate of completion and give a brief performance for parents on the last day of camp (location TBA). Tuition for summer camps is non-refundable and cannot be prorated. If a class cannot be provided, tuition can be credited or refunded w/o penalty or processing fee. All payment is due in advance of first class. Classes may not be canceled or rescheduled. No credits will be issued for missed classes. Maximum of 6 students per class (max of 20 for Musical Theater Showcase). Students must have their own violin for the Group Violin class. Class times are subject to availability and may be changed. Best efforts will be made to notify students in the event of class changes.
